As promised, a picture:
We don't have a whole lot of pics of the little man yet, so this is it for now. Bennett James was born at 6pm exactly, weighing in at a whopping 6 lbs 10 oz and was 19 inches long. That is one huge kiddo for being only 35 weeks 5 days. He is currently in the NICU, but is doing really well. He started out on O2, but is currently breathing on his own, which is great. I still haven't seen him, as my spinal is still wearing off. The surgery went really well, and quick. My tubes are all tied up and I'm feeling pretty good at the moment. I'm tired and starving, but my pain is minimal. I'm so happy he's here and confident that he'll be healthy and strong in no time at all. For those of you who are confused about why he's here already, basically I went into labor and to be sure that my prior incision stays intact, they decided to do the delivery today. It has been a long day with a lot of ups and downs but things are heading up for us. Thanks for your continued support and prayers! We truly appreciate it.
