Ok, so I am so not creative in the kitchen. All the meals I plan and execute are the same, week after week and usually involve hamburger or chicken. Occasionally I'll throw in a pork tenderloin, but not all that often. So, my challenge to you is to submit a simple, yet different and tasty recipe to me so that my family can have some variety. We are always willing to try new things, but the lack of time and sometimes resources leave us eating quesadillas and some sort of hotdish every night.
Now before you feel sorry for my husband, know this: I am not a chef, never proclaimed to be, and the only reason I cook, is because if I didn't, we most likely wouldn't eat. Brian works until 5, and doesn't get home until 6. If he cooked, none of us would eat until around 7. That's way too late for 2 small children and 2 very exhausted parents. So, before you submit a recipe, ask yourself, can an amateur make this with 2 screaming kids in the background? I didn't say this would be easy, so I dare you to find something!
I need help in this area too. One thing that is so easy to make in the crockpot is pork loin (or boneless chops) with golden mushroom soup. Serve it over white rice. I start it in the morning and it is ready for dinner!

First of all, do you like fish? Pasta?
I love manicotti. Nicole was the one who introduced this to me a while ago. It's super easy....
Get the jumbo seashell noodles. Boil them, drain, pat dry and set aside.
While that's going on, cook burger to well done.
Mix 1 tub of ricotta cheese, 1 bag of mozzerella cheese, 1 egg and 1/2 parmasean cheese together in a bowl. Let the bowl be big enough to add your burger to.
After the burger is cooked, add it to the cheese. Stir that all together.
Next, take each shell and stuff it with your mixter. After you have all of your shells stuffed, pour marinara sauce on top. Sprinkle with parmeasan cheese. Bake at 350 until cheese is oozing.
I hope this all makes sense. I kind of just improvize in the kitchen. Normally, I don't go by a recipe. Make as many noodles as you need.
What I usually do is make extra that way we can have it for lunch.
Hope you might like this....I love to cook so let me know if you need any other recipes.
Oh, I subscribe to kraft foods. It's free. Just get on their website and add yourself to their mailing list.
All of their recipes contains things you would normally stock up on. It's not crazy and long recipes. Good luck.
