So, my neighbor and I were talking yesterday about plastic surgery. What are your thoughts? Would you do it, say, if cost weren't an issue? Would you do it even if it was an issue? I would totally do it. Let's just say that after this 3rd child, I will be a willing participant for several procedures.
Any mother out there will tell you that their body is trashed after babies, even if you managed to lose all that extra weight. You are scarred with stretch marks, that NEVER go away. Your belly button is at least double what it used to be. Your breasts are no where near perky. In fact, they are much like an 80 year olds in my mind! For people like me, who retained 20 lbs of water, my legs have stretch marks down to the knees. From the neck up and the knees down, my body is about the same, but everything in between, well, let's not even go there, that is off limits to the general public, and even the hubby at times, lol!
Let's just say, I'd love to wear a bikini again and sadly enough, no amount of working out can take away the "baby pooch", saggy boobs and stretch marks. Luckily my hubby loved having a "hot wife" and has said we'd "talk" about it when this baby is born. So, my question to you is: How do you feel about such a controversial topic? Would you pay to alter your body? If so, what would you have done?
I'll tell you right now that heck yes, I'd pay to alter my body. I wouldn't want the body of a super mega celebrity, just put me back together, the way I used to be and I'd be happy. The procedures I'd like to have are: Tummy tuck with Lipo and a breast lift/augmentation, maybe even a reduction!
Here's a great website if you want to do the research: Bashioum Plastic Surgery Center. I've done a lot of reading, and while the recovery would be painful, the results would be well worth it. The hardest thing would be my inability to care for my kids, but I have an incredible support system so I know they would be in good hands!
well....funny you should ask...lol
i am a recipient of plastic surgery and it was well worth every penny i spent and truly the pain was not what i expected.
If you can do it...i am a firm believer in it...call me vain call me what you want but at age 28 (at the time) i was not down looking all jacked up...
I had a boob job, tummy tuck and the ever so painful liposuction in the hips, back flank, and the upper torso...all at the same time...now that is the way to go...do it all at once and be done with it.

Yes Yes Yes! If I have the $$, I will totally have a breast lift AND reduction. Pregnant, my boobs are out of this world large (and I'm not a large girl... 5'3" and about 125-130 depending) and not pregnant they are about 34DD... and SAGGY as all get out. Sick.
I would also, after more than 2 kids, really really need a tummy tuck. I still have a little pooch from Porter, but I still wear a bikini 'cause I just don't care. However, I am scared to see how my body changes after another pregnancy or two. EEEK!
So, yes yes yes I would pay to have my body put back to halfway normal. I wouldn't do face stuff (well, when I was younger I wanted a chin implant HAHA!) but body-wise.. . Yes!

I'd get a boob lift and tummy tuck after the kids, for sure!
