The wedding has successfully come and gone! The festivities all began on Thursday when Erin and I checked in at our hotel. Our day was to be filled with work and fun. We started by getting our nails done. Erin got both a mani and a pedi, I was a running a little late from my doctors appointment (I'll post an u/s pic and belly pic later) so I just got a pedi, it was so fantastic though! After that, we went out to lunch with my mom, my grandma and my aunt Brenda, who flew in from FL. Here is Erin and me at lunch.
After lunch, we headed to the hall to do some set up work. My mom and aunt conveniently showed up after all the chair covers were put on... Later on we headed to the hotel to relax a bit and get ready for the groom's dinner. Stew's Dad and Step Mom hosted and it was a lovely night. It was held in the atrium at the Embassy Suites. The ambience was beautiful and relaxing. Food was eaten, drinks were enjoyed and fun was had by all. Annika had fun playing on this gazebo and chasing the domestic ducks. She was so darn cute!
Here are some more of the rehearsal dinner:
The bride and groom...
Erin and the bridesmaids (she had 8!)...
Here are some pictures before the wedding started. Everyone looked gorgeous. The colors were perfect! Here is one of Erin at Mear's Park. Wasn't it amazing there? Isn't she beautiful?
Here's one of my dad, me and my mom:
The lovely bride and handsome groom.
Annika, the flower girl, Stew, Cooper, the ring bearer and Stew's little brother, and Erin.
Finally, some pics of the reception. Annika had sooooo much fun dancing. She loved the lights and loud music. She danced until about 10pm! So many people tried to dance with her, but she was in her own little world and didn't want any partners. I have some great video and I will try to upload it.
Erin and Stew's first dance as husband and wife.
Annika and Daddy:
The wedding is officially over, but I just want to say how beautiful it was and how honored I was to be such a big part of my little sister's wedding. She made a beautiful bride and I gained a great brother. I've created a little blog for their wedding pictures that I took, so if you are interested, go check it out. Once we get the professional one's, I'll try to post more. I didn't get a whole lot of our family, or the girls (I'm a bit bummed because they were both so darn cute and well behaved!). Enjoy, and if you do visit, leave a comment for the newlyweds!
Great pic's. Looks like you had fun. Especially Annika. I had fun watching the video on Kristi's blog.
