So, first off, check out this new hairdo:
Nuff said. This weekend was sooo busy. Saturday we were busy cleaning and shopping and having dinner at my parents. I went on a major cleaning spree and dusted everything, vacuumed, laundry, etc. It wasn't fun, but hey, it's done. Then Brian went out and picked up the tv stand for our new tv, did some errands for me and went to Best Buy. He picked up Shrek the Third so we could watch it. I thought it was a cute movie, but the girls had no interest. Must be the age! Then, we went to my parents for a late dinner of Hot Dagos. In case you've never heard of these, they consist of a giant loaf of hamburger and spicy sausage, piled on top of bread and topped with spaghetti sauce and mozzarella cheese. Not my thing, but Brian loves it. I just don't really like sausage all that much.
Sunday was busy as heck too. I started cooking at about 8:30 am for the dinner we were hosting for Brian's fam. I made calzones, and although they aren't hard to make, they are very time consuming. Once I was done with that, I needed to run some more errands. All the while, this is what Annika and Daddy were doing:
And as a result, we have this:
And what about this funny face:
All in all, it was a good weekend. But, I feel like I didn't really get any quality time with Brian or the girls. Luckily we have a short week ahead of us and a good day of food and fun. On Friday, I am going up north with 9 other girls for a scrapbooking retreat. We are going to this cabin called the ICU: Intensive Crop Unit! It is a fully functional cabin with 10 beds, a full kitchen, dining room, crop space for 10 people, and did I mention it was just me, and 9 of my friends? No husbands, no kids! We've had this planned for months and months and it's finally here. I seriously can't wait. I printed over 150 pictures and did some shopping, now all I need is it to be here! I know I will miss the girls and Brian, but it's a small price to pay for a little vacation!
Alright, later gators.
Bianca looks too cute with her hair in that little pony! Thanks for dinner...it was awesome and (hopefully) worth all the work :)
